AESG, a global leader in sustainability consulting, has expanded its operations with the launch of a new office in Sydney, Australia. This new office will serve as the headquarters for the Australasian markets, furthering AESG’s mission to drive the net-zero and sustainability agenda across the Asia Pacific region

Today, we proudly extend the reach of our world-class service portfolio into Australia, said Saeed Al Abbar, CEO of AESG. The nation’s ambitious decarbonization strategy and emissions reduction targets for 2035 align perfectly with our mission as a business.

The Sydney office will work closely with AESG’s Singapore office, enhancing their ability to deliver global best practices while infusing local expertise. AESG’s rapid growth, with offices already established in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the UK, and Singapore, underscores its commitment to leading sustainability initiatives across the globe.

Devan Valenti, a seasoned expert in sustainability with experience across three continents, has been appointed as AESG’s Director of Sustainability for Australia. Valenti, who played a key role in the development of the Green Star Buildings Rating—a benchmark for Australian property developers—will spearhead AESG’s efforts in the region.

AESG’s initial focus in Australia will be on developing its Environment and Sustainability and Specialist Engineering divisions, offering services such as Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD), Facade Engineering, Fire and Life Safety, ESG Advisory, and Carbon and Net Zero Consultancy.

Valenti’s appointment highlights AESG’s strategy of leveraging top talent to address complex engineering challenges and advance ESG practices. His leadership, combined with AESG’s global resources, positions the firm as a pivotal player in the Australasian market.
