Amcor, a leader in responsible packaging, has announced two major executive appointments aimed at propelling organic growth and enhancing sustainability across its operations. Fred Stephan, former President of Amcor Flexibles North America, has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer, a new role that positions him to drive profitable growth by aligning business operations and commercial teams across global flexible packaging divisions.
CEO Peter Konieczny remarked on the strategic shift: “Amcor is an outstanding company…with significant growth potential. At this stage in the Company’s evolution, we have a valuable opportunity to accelerate organic growth by leveraging our global footprint and scale more effectively.”

In parallel, Amcor has named David Clark, previously Vice President of Sustainability, as its first Chief Sustainability Officer. Clark will now oversee the company’s sustainability strategies directly under the CEO, guiding Amcor’s efforts to foster a circular economy and minimize its environmental impact.
