BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has made a significant move by listing four ESG equity ETFs on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) for the first time. This launch showcases BNPP AM’s diverse ETF capabilities within the ESG and thematic investment landscape.
These ETFs are sub-funds of BNPP AM’s newly established ICAV, created in early 2023, complementing existing French and Luxembourg SICAVs. This strategic step aims to broaden access to international clients and capitalize on the UK’s deep ETF market.
Miriam Breen has been appointed to lead Business Development for ETF and Index Solutions in the UK and Ireland. Reporting to Lorraine Sereyjol-Garros, Global Head of Business Development ETF & Index Solutions, Miriam brings over a decade of experience from Legal & General Investment Management, where she managed key accounts in the UK wholesale and retail markets. “Her wealth of experience will help to harness this momentum and drive our ETF journey into even greater territory,” said Sereyjol-Garros.
The newly listed ETFs include:
- BNP Paribas Easy S&P 500 ESG UCITS ETF
- BNP Paribas Easy MSCI ACWI SRI S-Series PAB 5% Capped UCITS ETF
- BNP Paribas Easy MSCI World ESG Filtered Min TE UCITS ETF
- BNP Paribas EASY ECPI Global ESG Infrastructure UCITS ETF
These listings represent a culmination of two years of strategic planning and collective effort at BNPP AM. “The UK is an integrally important market for us, and listing on the LSE will allow us to have a much broader reach,” Sereyjol-Garros added.
With this launch, BNPP AM is poised to enhance its global footprint and meet the growing demand for sustainable investment options.
