Kering is the only Luxury Group recognized on the CDP 2023 ‘Triple A’ List. For over seven years now, Kering’s environmental actions and transparency have been certified by the Carbon Disclosure Project.
Based on data reported through CDP’s 2023 Climate Change, Forests and Water Security questionnaires, Kering is one of only 10 companies that achieved a triple ‘A’ – out of over 21,000 companies scored. The Group is the only Luxury Fashion Group to have earned the prestigious ‘AAA’ rating across the whole industry, rewarding its leadership in Climate Change, Water Security and Forests.
The Carbon Disclosure Project holds the largest environmental database in the world and its scores are widely used to drive investment and procurement decisions towards a zero carbon, sustainable and resilient economy. In 2023, over 740 financial institutions with over US$136 trillion in assets requested companies to disclose data on environmental impacts, risks and opportunities through CDP’s platform. A record-breaking 23,000 companies responded. Out of the 21,000 companies that were actually scored, only 2% earned an A score.
