Nestlé has been recognized by Fortune and Great Place to Work as one of the top 25 workplaces amongst multinational companies.

The list is complied every year based on surveys of employees working for organizations across the globe. The companies are assessed on whether they create great workplaces and support people and communities across multiple countries.

Béatrice Guillaume-Grabisch, Global Head of Human Resources and Business Services at Nestlé, says: “We’re excited to be #18 on Fortune’s World’s Best Workplaces list and congratulate every single one of our people for building an amazing culture all around the world! We can all be proud of the workplace we have created in which trust, respect, inclusion, innovation and empowerment are key, as we continue to enhance the quality of life and contribute to a healthier future for all.”

Present in 186 countries, Nestlé offers a truly global platform for employees to learn and develop. The scale of the business means there are career opportunities across different brands and products, and the opportunity to learn from the diverse range of skills and backgrounds of colleagues. With ambitious societal commitments, people at Nestlé are also using the scale of the company to make a difference on diverse issues such as climate action, environment and human rights in supply chains.

Great Place to Work identified the World’s Best Workplaces in 2022 by analyzing surveys representing 14.8 million employee opinions worldwide. The survey also considers the breadth and impact of company workplace programs. Organizations must demonstrate their success in creating great workplaces by ranking on both national and regional lists.

To be considered, companies must be identified as outstanding global employers by appearing at least five Best Workplaces lists in Asia, Europe, Latin America, Africa, North America, or Australia during 2021 or early 2022. Companies must have at least 5,000 employees worldwide with at least 40% (or 5,000) of those employees located outside the headquarters country.

This award builds on work by Nestlé teams to drive innovation, inclusion, and impact, as shown by other external recognition such as the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index and FastCompany’s Best Workplaces for Innovators in Sustainability.
