Schneider Electric has appointed Esther Finidori as its new Chief Sustainability Officer, effective 1 June 2025, marking a strategic move to bolster its sustainability leadership at the highest level.

Finidori will join the Executive Committee, tasked with driving the company’s new sustainability strategy—aimed at deepening the business impact of its social and environmental efforts.

Esther will reinforce our business relevance and leadership on innovative social and environmental practices,” Schneider Electric stated.

A long-time leader within the company, Finidori previously served as France Operations Strategy VP, where she led initiatives across influence, commercial strategy, sales excellence, and circular economy. Her earlier role as Group Environment VP saw her shape the company’s environmental framework and bolster Schneider Electric’s standing as a sustainability pioneer.

She brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record in sustainability and strategic leadership,” the company said.

Before joining Schneider Electric in 2016, Finidori worked as an environmental consultant, focusing on climate change and energy transition.

She holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris and a Master of Philosophy in Technology Policy from Cambridge University’s Judge Business School.

This leadership shift signals Schneider Electric’s continued push to integrate sustainability as a core business driver—reinforcing its commitment to ESG priorities amid growing investor and stakeholder expectations.
