SUMMARY:Panel Discussion - How do we Decarbonise Shipping?
DESCRIPTION:About the Event\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSince COP26 in Glasgow in 2021\, the topic of Climate change has been high on the agenda. Within the marine industry the efforts to reduce the impact on the climate from our industry via Greenhouse Gas emissions and other pollutants has been pushed and lead by the International Maritime Organisation\, who held their second symposium of Alternative Low and Zero Carbon Fuels for Shipping on the 21st of October. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur varied panel of local Marine industry experts will lead the conversation with a wide range of viewpoints from Engineering and the developing technologies to the Maritime regulatory Frameworks\, Port infrastructure and Alternative Marine Fuels. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe aim of the session is to hold an engaging technical discussion around the challenges to the Scottish Marine community\, and what we can do as part of the global Green Transition. This will take the format of a moderated discussion\, and attendees get the opportunity to ask questions and contribute to the debate. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTweets by RoyInstNavArch\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMatt BirdMatt Bird is the Founder\, CEO\, and Editor-in-Chief of ESG News.
