The event takes place every year in partnership with the United Nations General Assembly and is run in coordination with the United Nations and the City of New York. \nMain events taking place\nThis year Climate Week NYC is presenting a full program of some 400 events and activities in New York City. For those unable to attend in-person\, we’ll be streaming key sessions throughout the week. Wholly digital events will also be included in Climate Week NYC’s Events program. \nThe Climate Week NYC Opening Ceremony is the most high-profile moment of the week. Taking place on Sunday\, September 17\, the event will feature major announcements\, discussions\, and interviews with international leadership from business\, government\, and the climate community.
