DESCRIPTION:The second session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution\, including in the marine environment (INC-2) will take place from 29 May to 2 June 2023 at the United Nations Educational\, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Headquarters in Paris\, France. The meeting will be preceded by regional consultations on 28 May 2023\, at the same venue. \nPractical information regarding the meeting and the venue is available in the Information Note for Participants (13 April 2023). It will focus on the human-animal-ecosystems interface. These are the agricultural and productive spaces where biodiversity loss is declining rapidly\, which is destabilising the ecosystem services on which local people depend for food and livelihoods.
