DESCRIPTION:About the Event\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Bloomberg Green Docs competition was launched in November 2021 as a platform to encourage more climate-focused storytelling. Filmmakers from around the world submitted their short documentary films to compete for a $25\,000 grand prize selected by our nine-member jury. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur jury is John Fraher and Aaron Rutkoff of Bloomberg Green; actors Ed Begley Jr. and Sam Heughan; filmmakers Eva Orner and Oliver English; climate scientist Deanna Hence; Anna Jane Joyner\, founder and director of Good Energy; and Jill Tidman\, executive director of the Redford Center. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn Oct. 26\, at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles\, we’ll screen the top five films and announce our grand prize winner.
