DESCRIPTION:A previous EPRS event in the Brussels Library reading room © European Parliament EP/PE\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nForward looking policy-making in times of multiple crises \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe conference aims to explore the EU’s better law-making policy with a view to assessing the progress achieved to date\, discuss challenges ahead such as\, for instance\, the future-proofing of legislation and the use of anticipatory governance tools. The conference will also look at aspects of inter-institutional cooperation and will bring in the European Parliament’s perspective on all of these aspects. As a co-legislator\, the EU Parliament has built up impact assessment and evaluation capacities a decade ago\, and has since then been actively engaged in advancing better law-making. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMatt BirdMatt Bird is the Founder\, CEO\, and Editor-in-Chief of ESG News.
