SUMMARY:Pharma Clinical 2022
DESCRIPTION:The home of clinical collaboration.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe pandemic response has accelerated technology adoption in clinical trials\, but we have neglected patient needs by failing to develop co-created\, data-driven\, standardised and accountable trial designs.   \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn the face of rethinking clinical strategy\, our mission is clear: it’s time to develop a better system. SUMMARY:Commercialising Quantum 2022
DESCRIPTION:Commercialising Quantum: What does a “quantum future” mean?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCommercialising Quantum is coming sooner than you think. The potential for quantum to transform business is so great\, with the technology advancing so rapidly\, that every business leader must prepare for its impact. Companies and investors are already hunting for a “quantum advantage”—a way in which even today’s error-prone unstable machines might have an impact on their bottom lines. Within two to three years\, advances dreamed up by quantum scientists could yield real-world applications\, with the finance industry likely to be an early adopter. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur inaugural event will provide an understanding of how the technology will work\, the kinds of problems it could help solve\, and how leaders may harness its potential and identify investments that offer the best business outcomes for the future. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBoston Consulting Group foresees quantum computers improving the operating income of their users by between $450bn and $850bn a year by 2050. Increasing hype around quantum computing has made it difficult to separate viable applications in the short-term from longer-term possibilities that may not emerge or are still years or decades away. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur event aims to set a clear\, balanced and hype-free agenda of what is real\, what is not and what can be done to gain a quantum advantage. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho should attend?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrom industry:CEO\, CSO\, CTO\, CIO\, CMO\, COOChief transformation officersChief digital officersHead of data scienceMachine learning departmentAI departments\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrom government:Head of policy\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrom academia:Professor of quantum computing\, physics\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrom manufacturing:Hardware vendors showcasing cutting-edge technology\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTweets by EconomistEvents\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nhttps://esgnews.com/category/technology/ \n\n\nESG News Editorial TeamThe ESG News Editorial Team is comprised of veteran financial journalists and sustainability analysts dedicated to providing real-time\, objective reporting on global ESG regulations\, climate finance\, and corporate governance. SUMMARY:Technology for Change Week Asia 2022
DESCRIPTION:Join us Technology for Change this coming March on International Women’s Day as we focus on the social and governance aspects of ESG to build much-needed momentum around gender equality\, economic inclusivity\, connectivity gaps\, and access to food\, education and digital technology. If necessity is the mother of invention\, how has covid-19 catalysed change? The second Technology For Change Week Asia will gather leading policymakers\, entrepreneurs and managers in major corporations\, big tech\, finance and NGOs. Together\, they will examine how technology-based and data-driven solutions can be applied to long-standing social challenges. They will also focus on issues that resonate strongly across the more than five billion people in Asia: connectivity infrastructure\, financial inclusion\, education and nutritional security. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe United Nations (UN) General Assembly recently implored member states to close the digital divide for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The World Bank estimates that the ranks of those living in extreme poverty are likely to have swollen by 150m due to the covid-19 crisis. There has never been a more urgent need to raise digital and financial inclusion and promote prosperity. To nurture economic growth\, the fulfilment of basic social needs such as education\, food security and banking is an essential foundation. Technology may be the most important connective tissue that links the financial world’s power and influence to the inclusive aspirations of the SDGs. How do we move from hype to help? \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy Attend? \n\n\n\nJoin policy makers and regulators to discuss how they can foster social innovation.
