Sony Group companies have also donated Xperia smartphones to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, to support humanitarian aid efforts in Ukraine and in neighboring countries, as well as audio and video systems to children’s shelters in Ukraine to alleviate psychological stress.

Through these efforts, Sony’s total amount of contribution to date, including the ones announced on March 2 and March 31, has reached approximately 6.56 million U.S. dollars.

Sony will continue to collaborate closely with partner organizations to explore medium- to long-term support for those affected by this global humanitarian crisis. We sincerely hope that peace will be restored in Ukraine and around the world.
