  • Real-Time Risk Detection: The tool enables real-time identification of labour risks, replacing slow, costly traditional audits.
  • Enhanced Compliance & Transparency: Aligns with international labour standards and modern slavery legislation, helping companies meet evolving due diligence mandates.
  • Worker-Centric Insight: Anonymous, multi-language access empowers workers to report issues without fear, driving better-informed decisions.

EcoVadis has rolled out a new tool designed to capture real-time worker feedback across global supply chains—marking a shift from traditional audits toward more agile and transparent labour oversight.

The EcoVadis Worker Voice survey, developed with tech firm Ulula, collects anonymous input via mobile, SMS, or in-person surveys. It supports multiple languages and literacy levels, ensuring accessibility for workers in diverse environments. The tool has already uncovered serious concerns such as forced overtime and workplace harassment, offering actionable insights to management teams.

Policy without visibility falls short of where it matters most – on the ground with workers,” said Pierre-François Thaler, co-founder and co-CEO of EcoVadis. This tool provides the data and insight organisations need to move beyond compliance and deliver meaningful outcomes across their value chains.”

Designed to flag risks in real time, the platform enables companies to swiftly address labour rights issues. It also helps businesses align with regulatory frameworks like modern slavery legislation, and supports improved grievance mechanisms.

Surveys remain open for up to 10 days and can be accessed through QR codes or publicised phone numbers. Results are fed into the EcoVadis platform, where companies can earn a “worker verified” designation.

We’re helping surface risks that would otherwise remain hidden, making it easier for companies to take action,” said Antoine Heuty, founder and CEO of Ulula.
