EQ Office Welcomes Samantha Sims as SVP, Social Impact and Sustainability

Appointment Highlights EQ’s Commitment to Driving Value Through the Creation of a Leading ESG Program in the Commercial Real Estate Industry

EQ Office, Blackstone’s US office portfolio company, announced the appointment of Samantha Sims as Senior Vice President, Social Impact and Sustainability, effective immediately. Based in New York and reporting to EQ’s Chief Executive Officer Alex Vouvalides, Ms. Sims will help shape and lead EQ’s ESG program across the company and its assets.

Ms. Sims brings over 18 years of experience building and leading global sustainability strategies, programs, and teams to enhance operations, create value, and drive change at scale across multifaceted organizations. Most recently, Ms. Sims served as Vice President, ESG at Warner Music Group, where she established the company’s first ESG platform and co-founded the industry’s first collective effort to confront climate change. Prior to joining Warner Music Group, she spent over eight years in positions of increasing responsibility at PVH Corp. In her final role as Vice President, Environmental Sustainability & Product Stewardship, Ms. Sims drove programs throughout PVH’s environmental and human rights platforms, which were widely recognized by best-in-class ESG rankings.

Ms. Sims earned a Master of Public Administration from New York University and a Bachelor of Science from Boston University.
