BNP Paribas Solar Impulse Venture Fund Secures €172 Million
  • BNP Paribas Asset Management successfully closed its BNP Paribas Solar Impulse Venture Fund, surpassing its €150 million target.
  • The fund will invest in approximately 15 high-growth European and North American startups focused on ecological transition.
  • This initiative, a partnership with the Solar Impulse Foundation, aims to accelerate the development of climate tech solutions.

BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) announced the final close of its BNP Paribas Solar Impulse Venture Fund (BNPP SIVF), securing €172 million in capital. This exceeded the initial target and will enable the fund to invest in roughly 15 high-potential startups across Europe and North America.

The fund, a result of a partnership between BNPP AM and the Solar Impulse Foundation, focuses on sectors such as energy transition, sustainable agriculture, circular economy, and biodiversity.

The fund has already made initial investments in companies like NatureMetrics, Phenix, Axioma, Hello Watt, and Chemix, with further investments expected soon.
