Leadership for the Next Growth Phase

Puro.earth, a leading carbon removal marketplace, has appointed Jan-Willem Bode as President. With a deep background in sustainability, Bode co-authored the first Gold Standard, advised major corporations, and has served on the Puro.earth Board since 2021. He is also part of the Expert Advisory Group of the Voluntary Carbon Markets Integrity Initiative (VCMI).

Additionally, Ellen Brouwer – van Haastert joins as Co-Head of Standard. Coming from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), she will work alongside Marianne Tikkanen to enhance Puro Standard’s integrity.
