Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Mika Kania as Head of Sustainability Advisory for Asia Pacific, underscoring the firm’s commitment to advancing sustainability in the real estate sector.

Kania, based in Hong Kong, will guide clients in crafting and executing sustainability strategies that deliver measurable environmental and social impacts. She will report directly to Matt Clifford, Head of Sustainability & ESG, Asia Pacific.

“Mika’s leadership will be instrumental in helping our clients navigate the complexities of sustainability with practical and cost-effective solutions that drive real impact,” said Clifford.

Kania’s extensive background includes roles at the U.S. Green Building Council, where she expanded LEED’s presence across Asia Pacific, and WeWork, where she led sustainability efforts in Greater China.

A WELL AP, LEED AP, and RESET AP, Kania also contributes to the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) Health Equity Advisory Group.
