EcoVadis Launches CSRD Questionnaire to Simplify Global Supply Chain Disclosures
  • Compliance Simplified: EcoVadis’ CSRD questionnaire streamlines compliance with European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), helping over 50,000 companies meet disclosure requirements.
  • Supplier Empowerment: The free-to-supplier tool ensures accessible and efficient data collection for supply chain reporting.
  • Audit-Ready Reporting: Seamless integration with EcoVadis solutions enables procurement teams to generate trusted, audit-ready CSRD reports.

EcoVadis unveils a Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) questionnaire designed to help companies navigate increasingly complex supply chain disclosure requirements. Available as part of EcoVadis’ sustainability intelligence suite, the new tool integrates with the AI-powered risk management platform IQ Plus, Vitals questionnaire, and EcoVadis Ratings.

Why it matters:

Regulatory compliance is becoming a global challenge. Over 50,000 companies, including 10,000 U.S. businesses operating in or selling to the EU, must meet CSRD requirements starting this year. These mandates demand reporting on environmental impacts (e.g., greenhouse gas emissions, water usage) and social factors (e.g., labor standards, diversity).

Thousands of companies are required to report on sustainability data… Those who fall behind on regulatory disclosure risk facing financial, reputational, and competitive losses to those who get it right,” said Pierre-Francois Thaler, co-founder and co-CEO at EcoVadis.

Simplifying Supply Chain Challenges:

The CSRD questionnaire was developed to:

  • Engage Suppliers: It addresses mandatory supply chain data requiring direct supplier input, ensuring alignment with ESRS standards.
  • Lower Barriers: Suppliers can complete the questionnaire free of charge, reducing friction in data collection.
  • Streamline Reporting: Procurement teams can easily aggregate data and produce audit-ready exports for regulatory compliance.

Working with EcoVadis has put us in a good position to cover our CSRD supply chain topics. As our suppliers are shaping their CSRD requirements, they know to come to us,” said Rhea Horlock, Global Corporate Social Responsibility Lead at Kinly.

The Bottom Line:

EcoVadis’ CSRD solution empowers companies to meet stringent sustainability reporting requirements with confidence, reducing compliance burdens while fostering supply chain resilience.
