Antonios Panagiotopoulos is an Executive Director at MSCI ESG & Climate Research specializing in the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risk and performance analysis of listed equities within the energy industry and is a member of the ESG Research Climate Change Working Group and the Carbon Methodology Committee.

Before his role with MSCI, Antonios had an extensive experience in the oil and gas sector and specifically the refining, petrochemical and shipping sectors in various positions in London UK and in Houston, U.S. He holds a MSc in energy trade and finance from Bayes Business School in London and a BA degree in international relations and law from the University of the Aegean.

Whitney is an Executive Director and Global Head of ESG Issuer Relations at MSCI. She leads a team on the front lines of MSCI’s engagement with the more than 10,000 corporate issuers in our coverage universe. Prior to this role, she served as Head of ESG & Climate Marketing in the Americas, where she was responsible for developing and executing on the marketing strategy to support MSCI’s ambitious ESG and climate growth objectives. She began her career as an analyst at KLD Research & Analytics, which was later acquired by MSCI.

Whitney served as an inaugural member of the MSCI Executive Diversity Council, participated in the firm’s first Women’s Leadership Forum in London, and is the acting global co-lead of the MSCI Pride & Allies employee resource group. She is a long-time chapter leader and advisor for the global ESG industry group, Women Investing for a Sustainable Economy (WISE).

She holds a B.A. in Biology and German from Bowdoin College.

Beth Byington is the Global Head of Corporate ESG and Climate Solutions at MSCI where she leads the firm’s commercial strategy to develop ESG and Climate product offerings for Corporates and Corporate Advisors.

Prior to her current role, Beth spent thirteen years in MSCI’s Client Coverage Organization, most recently as a Senior Account Manager where she was responsible for global relationship management with some of MSCI’s largest clients. In this capacity Beth drove commercial growth across all MSCI’s Product Lines (Index, ESG and Climate, Analytics, and Private Assets) and interfaced with senior decision-markets to position MSCI as a preferred partner. In earlier years Beth held several leadership roles within the Index Client Coverage division, including Head of Index Licensing for Financial Intermediaries, Hedge Funds, and Third-Party Distribution partners.  In these positions she was responsible for driving new business and developing new commercial initiatives.   Beth is also actively involved with MSCI’s Women’s Leadership Forum, for which she serves on the global steering committee.

Before MSCI Beth worked at Lehman Brothers on the Equity Research Sales desk supporting Asset Managers and Hedge Funds. Beth started her career in the Information Technology sector as a Management Consultant at IBM and later at Deutsche Bank.

Beth holds a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University and a M.B.A. in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business.
