Adani Group and Google have unveiled a strategic collaboration to boost clean energy consumption and drive sustainability in India. The partnership will see Adani harnessing power from a new solar-wind hybrid facility located at Khavda, Gujarat, which hosts the world’s largest renewable energy plant. This initiative marks a significant step in both companies’ efforts to support India’s green energy transition.

Strategic Energy Solutions

Adani’s expertise in large-scale renewable projects positions it as a key player in supplying tailored energy solutions to meet the growing demands of the commercial and industrial sectors. “With proven capabilities in delivering large-scale wind, solar, hybrid, and energy storage projects, Adani is well-positioned to provide customized renewable energy solutions to commercial and industrial (C&I) customers to meet their energy requirements and reduce their carbon footprint,” highlighted the release.

The focus of the collaboration extends beyond just energy production to include accelerating the decarbonization of vital industrial sectors in India. Adani plans to enhance its offerings in the merchant and C&I segments, pivotal in reducing industry-wide carbon emissions.
