ING has introduced the ING Upgrader, an all-in-one service designed to make sustainable home improvements easier and more accessible for its mortgage customers. Launched on December 9, the service addresses customer concerns about complexity, costs, and lack of guidance in upgrading their homes for energy efficiency.
Tackling Climate Challenges
The built environment is a major contributor to CO₂ emissions, and ING is committed to driving change. Peter Jacobs, CEO of ING Netherlands, highlights the dual focus:
“We can ensure that new construction minimizes its CO₂ footprint, but we make an even greater impact by improving existing homes to be more energy-efficient and sustainable.”
Through partnerships like Winst uit je woning, ING simplifies the energy transition for households, supporting the bank’s goal to accelerate low-CO₂ living across the Netherlands.
