The U.S. Plastics Pact announces the appointment of Jonathan Quinn as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. This leadership change marks a pivotal moment for the Pact as it advances its mission to revolutionize plastic packaging design, use, and reuse, aiming for a circular economy in the United States.

Emily Tipaldo, the first Executive Director of the U.S. Pact, will temporarily serve as a strategic advisor to facilitate the transition. Board Chair Holli Alexander praised Tipaldo’s exceptional leadership, which has established the organization as a key player in sustainable innovation in the plastics industry. She expressed confidence in Quinn’s ability to build on this foundation:

Jonathan Quinn brings over 15 years of industry expertise to his new role, having most recently served as Global VP of Marketing & Sustainability for The API Group. His lifelong passion for plastic packaging and belief in a plastics circular economy make him ideally suited to lead the U.S. Pact.

Quinn shared his enthusiasm about joining the U.S. Plastics Pact:
