Schroders Greencoat Expands UK Solar Portfolio
Schroders Greencoat, a specialist in renewables and energy transition infrastructure, has successfully acquired a UK-based solar portfolio from METLEN Energy & Metals (formerly MYTILINEOS). This acquisition enhances its position as the largest manager of ground mount solar farms in the UK, now totaling approximately 1.9 GWp.
The portfolio comprises three operating solar PV assets: Gorse Lane in Lincolnshire, Defford in Worcestershire, and Watnall in Nottinghamshire, collectively offering a capacity of 110 MWp. These assets power the equivalent of 41,300 homes annually.
