In addition to these improvements, the SEC plans to expand the platform further by categorizing Thai ESG Funds that invest in listed companies disclosing corporate value-up plans. “This aims to facilitate investors interested in Thai ESG Funds with a focus on such stocks,” added Budsaratragoon. This initiative aligns with the SEC’s broader goal to encourage governance enhancements among listed companies while expanding the scope of eligible assets for Thai ESG Funds.

The SEC envisions the ESG Product Platform as a pivotal tool for building investor confidence by offering reliable, transparent, and comprehensive data on sustainability-focused financial products.
