Neste and DB Schenker Launch Singapore’s First Trial of Renewable Diesel for Road Transport

Neste and DB Schenker Launch Singapore’s First Trial of Renewable Diesel for Road Transport
  • Up to 90% emissions cut: Trial shows potential to reduce GHG emissions in land transport across APAC.
  • No infrastructure overhaul needed: Neste MY Renewable Diesel is drop-in ready for existing diesel engines.
  • Major regional milestone: First use of Neste’s renewable diesel for road transport in Singapore.

Neste and DB Schenker have joined forces to accelerate low-emission logistics in Asia-Pacific, kicking off a trial that marks the first use of Neste MY Renewable Diesel™ for road transport in Singapore. The collaboration aligns with both companies’ net-zero strategies and focus on scalable, immediate-impact solutions.

The trial, which ran from December 2024 to February 2025, demonstrated that DB Schenker could switch to renewable diesel without modifying vehicles or distribution infrastructure.
Neste MY Renewable Diesel, a drop-in replacement for fossil diesel, is compatible with all diesel engines—simplifying adoption at scale.

Singapore’s land transport sector contributes around 15% of the nation’s carbon emissions. Neste’s solution offers up to 90% GHG emission reductions over the fuel’s life cycle, showcasing a viable route to decarbonize logistics fleets.
