Apex Group Boosts Regulatory Consulting Service with Enhanced Team

- Appointments in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East boost global offering

Apex Group, the leading global financial services business, today announces the strengthening of its regulatory consulting service with a number of new, senior level appointments and promotions.
Isabelle Agius has been promoted to Regional Head of Compliance Solutions – Europe. Isabelle has been employed with Apex Malta as Head of Regulatory Services since 2019. Prior to that she spent 14 years with the Malta Financial Services Authority where she held various positions with the Regulatory Development Unit and the Authorisation Unit.
During this period Isabelle drew upon her background in law, to support the transposition of UCITS IV, UCITS V and AIFMD regulations into Maltese Law.
Alongside strengthening the team in Europe with Isabelle, Apex Group has also boosted its teams in the Middle East and the US.

In the Middle East, Brian Reilly has been appointed as Regional Head of Compliance Solutions, responsible for regulatory consulting and compliance services primarily in the UAE. Brian brings more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry to the role, including senior regulatory positions with the Dubai Financial Services Authority, BNP Paribas, and UBS AG.
Meanwhile Ron Bass has been appointed as Regional Head of Compliance Solutions – Americas, responsible for delivering regulatory solutions and compliance services to private fund investment advisers domiciled in the United States. Ron has more than 20 years experience in regulatory compliance including 12 years as Chief Compliance Officer with a registered mutual fund complex and its affiliated adviser.
