Aramco and BYD have signed a Joint Development Agreement to accelerate innovation in new energy vehicle technologies, aiming to reduce emissions and boost efficiency in the transport sector.

The agreement brings together the research and development expertise of Saudi Aramco Technologies Company (SATC)—a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aramco—and BYD, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of new energy vehicles and batteries.
