BNP Paribas Launches Free AI-Driven Carbon Footprint Tool for Micro-Businesses and Offers Preferential Rates for SMEs and Corporations

Starting July 1st, BNP Paribas Bank in Poland will offer its business clients access to the Envirly platform, a cutting-edge tool powered by AI for calculating and managing carbon footprints. Micro-enterprises can report Scope 1 and 2 emissions for free, while SMEs benefit from special pricing.

Supporting Sustainable Transformation

BNP Paribas has a long history of aiding clients in their sustainable transformation, offering a variety of sustainable financial products. The bank’s partnership with Envirly, started in 2023, aligns with the EU CSRD’s 2026 requirements. “This cooperation helps our clients manage their carbon footprints and achieve their Sustainable Development Goals,” says Jarek Rot, Executive Director of the Sustainable Development Area at BNP Paribas Bank.

Enhanced Platform Capabilities

The Envirly platform adheres to GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1 standards. It now includes a product carbon footprint module and comprehensive ESG reporting tools. “This tool, combined with our advisory support, provides a market advantage,” says Mateusz Masiak, CEO of Envirly.

Ease of Use for Micro-Enterprises

Micro-enterprises can easily use the Envirly calculator by registering on the bank’s website. The user-friendly interface requires no specialized knowledge, offering actionable insights and data aggregation for sustainable development reports. “Envirly’s technology addresses data aggregation challenges and supports detailed supply chain tracking,” says Gizela Gorączyńska, Sustainable Development Programs Manager at BNP Paribas Bank.
