- Strategic Capital Injection: Series B extended to €37M with fresh investments from BNP Paribas Solar Impulse Venture Fund and Rabo Ventures.
- Commercial Momentum: OroraTech has secured nearly €100M in contracts and capital within the past year, signaling strong market validation.
- Cutting-Edge Capability: OroraTech’s 10-satellite thermal data network enables real-time wildfire detection and predictive modeling globally.
OroraTech, a global leader in wildfire intelligence and risk assessment, has extended its Series B funding round to €37 million, securing investment from two major European financial players—BNP Paribas Solar Impulse Venture Fund and Rabo Ventures.
This extension brings additional firepower to OroraTech’s mission: using space-based thermal intelligence to transform how the world understands and mitigates wildfires. The company operates ten satellites that stream persistent, real-time thermal data, supporting what it calls a “wildfire digital twin of the Earth”—a tool that allows 24/7 global fire monitoring and predictive modeling.
“We are executing on a rare window of opportunity—where our scalable space infrastructure meets breakthrough AI,” said Dr. Martin Langer, CEO & CTO of OroraTech. “The backing of two of Europe’s leading banks is a testimony to OroraTech’s position at the forefront of the market, and will further drive our growth as the foundational thermal intelligence provider for many industries and governments worldwide.”

The raise follows a year of strong commercial traction, with OroraTech closing nearly €100 million in contracts and venture capital. Its flagship platform, Wildfire Solution, delivers end-to-end fire management capabilities—estimating risk, detecting outbreaks, and forecasting fire growth using AI-enhanced thermal data.
Lucas Guillet, Investment Director at BNP Paribas Solar Impulse Venture Fund, said: “We are pleased to support OroraTech, which has established a strong reputation in the space industry and wildfire management ecosystem. Their ability to design and operate nano-satellites, as well as interpret complex data, has contributed to the commercial success of their Wildfire Intelligence solution.”

“Our network, along with Rabobank, offers a promising chance to support solutions that can improve forest protection globally—a mission that aligns perfectly with our fund’s investment thesis,” Guillet added.
With continued backing from long-time investors Bayern Kapital, Edaphon, and the European Circular Bioeconomy Fund (ECBF), OroraTech is positioning itself not just as a satellite operator, but as a key infrastructure provider for climate risk intelligence in an increasingly fire-prone world.
