Expanding PwC Greece’s ESG Vision

PwC Greece has appointed Antonios Tsiligiannis as its ESG, Sustainability & Climate Change Manager, positioning itself to strengthen its leadership in sustainable initiatives and urban resilience strategies. Sharing the news on social media, Tsiligiannis wrote:

To new beginnings, back in my hometown. I’m happy and excited to share that I’m starting a new position as ESG, Sustainability & Climate Change Manager at PwC Greece in Athens!”

With over ten years of experience, Tsiligiannis is a Greek-American licensed architectural engineer, urban planner, and urban designer. His career has spanned private and public sectors in Greece, Belgium, and France, with roles ranging from urban planning to EU policy advocacy. His work includes contributions to Horizon Europe projects and transport infrastructure design.

Academic Pursuits Strengthen Expertise

Tsiligiannis’s ongoing PhD at the National Technical University of Athens focuses on the intersection of large-scale projects and urban sustainability, a critical perspective in addressing climate change resilience.

Antonios Tsiligiannis has earned prestigious fellowships, including the French Department of State Fellowship and the Bodossaki Foundation Scholarship, further solidifying his credentials in climate-focused urban development.

Transformative Experience at POLIS Network

Prior to joining PwC, Antonios Tsiligiannis worked at the POLIS Network for over two years. He reflected on the experience, saying:

Working at POLIS meant focusing on one of my favourite domains – sustainable mobility. This materialised in interactions with POLIS’s members, attendance and participation in high-level discussions at the Eurobubble, and active participation in conferences and many other events.”
