Leadership Transition at Terrascope

Terrascope, a global leader in carbon measurement and decarbonization, appointed Felipe Daguila as its new CEO, effective January 7, 2025.

Daguila, who joined the company in 2021 as Chief Commercial Officer, has played a key role in expanding Terrascope’s footprint across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the U.S. His leadership experience includes roles at Google and AWS, making him well-suited to propel Terrascope’s growth strategy.

As we enter our next phase of growth, we are committed to being the easiest platform to measure and reduce emissions coming from the land, nature, and net-zero economy sectors,” Daguila said.

Daguila shared his personal connection to the company’s mission:

I grew up in Brazil as a farmer’s grandson. That upbringing, combined with my 25 years in technology, deepened my connection to Terrascope’s vision.

Terrascope’s platform has measured 462 million metric tons of CO₂—equivalent to Australia’s annual emissions—and developed a science-based AI-driven decarbonization library with over 20,000 initiatives.

Tatsuki Hirota, formerly General Manager for Japan, will now lead global sales, marketing, and customer success as part of the company’s evolving leadership team.
