MUFG Bank, Ltd. announced the launch of MUFG CashFolio™, a new liquidity trading portal developed in partnership with BNY Mellon. This online tool gives institutional clients greater access to short-term investments through the growing money market mutual fund (MMF) industry, which reached a record $6.51 trillion in assets as of July.

MUFG CashFolio is designed to enhance cash management and risk diversification for institutional clients. The platform offers MMF trade execution, settlement into MUFG accounts, fund research, compliance tools, and an ESG-focused investing option.

Ray Fattell, Head of Transaction Banking for MUFG Americas, explained, “Part of our mission is to enhance the range of products and services we offer our clients across the entire working capital cycle.
