Valentin Preobrazhenskiy, Founder of LAToken with Matt Bird at World Economic Forum (DAVOS)

HIGHLIGHTS

  • LAToken is a digital asset exchange platform specializing in creating asset markets
  • Had President of Bulgaria spoke on Blockchain Economic Forum
  • LAToken is the official host of the Blockchain Economic Forum at WEF19

The very existence of the Blockchain Economic Forum at the 2019 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, signified the widening acceptance of cryptocurrency in the world’s financial systems.

The blockchain forum was put on by Valentin Preobrazhenskiy, founder of the digital asset exchange LAToken.

“We organized the blockchain economic forum to gather politicians, economists, and regulators to discuss how markets should work,” Preobrazhenskiy told Matt Bird, Host of the Traders Network Show.

Preobrazhenskiy explained that blockchain is available everywhere the internet is accessible, yet that there remains debate about whether digital assets should be widely traded.

Personally, Preobrazhenskiy said he believes greater access leads to a more involved citizenry, which can help shape future policies.

“The more people who have skin in the game, who have invested in companies, they start to understand how regulators influence economies,” he said. “They start to create the future with today’s actions.”
