Abu Dhabi Launches ESG Advancement Tool MARSDNA to Drive Maritime ESG Sustainability
  • Innovative ESG Tool: MARSDNA helps maritime stakeholders measure and improve ESG performance through free, tailored reports.
  • Broad Accessibility: Designed for organisations of all sizes, including SMEs, to simplify ESG tracking and strategy development.
  • Global Standards Alignment: Integrates metrics from the UN SDGs and International Maritime Organization for comprehensive ESG evaluation.

Abu Dhabi has introduced MARSDNA, a groundbreaking tool designed to advance Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals in the maritime sector. Developed by Maqta Technologies Group, this free, user-friendly digital solution enables organisations to measure their ESG progress, receive personalised recommendations, and access detailed reports.

MARSDNA simplifies ESG tracking by consolidating global standards, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the International Maritime Organization’s metrics. The tool is accessible via Abu Dhabi Mobility and Abu Dhabi Maritime websites, where users can complete a questionnaire to generate actionable insights.

The launch of MARSDNA, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Maritime, reflects our ongoing commitment to achieving sustainability goals and supporting environmental, social, and governance initiatives within the maritime sector,” stated Abu Dhabi Mobility.

Designed for diverse users, MARSDNA caters to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that may lack resources for ESG strategy development, as well as larger entities seeking to enhance their sustainability efforts. Initial deployment targets five maritime value chain segments, with plans for broader expansion.
