AXA XL has appointed Katherine Gerber as Head of Energy Transition in the Americas. Reporting to Jon Tellekamp, Chief Underwriting Officer for Construction & Energy, Gerber will spearhead initiatives to help clients manage the risks and opportunities tied to energy transition.
In her role, Gerber will guide underwriting strategies and develop products and services tailored to clients’ sustainability ambitions. Leveraging AXA XL’s global reach and industry expertise, she aims to simplify the complexities surrounding the shift to renewable energy.

Before joining AXA XL, Gerber spent seven years at Liberty Mutual Insurance, serving as the Global Strategy and Performance Lead for Energy Transition Risk. Her experience in strategy development and underwriting has positioned her as a key industry leader.
