Saint-Gobain Donates over $170,000 to 21 Greater Worcester Non-Profit Organizations

The Saint-Gobain North America Foundation is pleased to announce $170,000 in funding awards to the greater Worcester community through the Worcester Executive Fund and the Worcester Employee Impact Fund.

The community donations come only months after Saint-Gobain announced its global Grow and Impact strategy, which includes prioritizing corporate social responsibility and volunteerism in communities where the company does business.

Grants were awarded to 21 non-profit partners and aligned with the foundation’s funding priorities of STEM Education, Sustainability, Habitat, Workforce Development, and Community. Programs include STEM Centers, camp scholarships, and the creation of makerspace training programs and resources in Spanish. Awardees are:

The next deadline for the Fall cycle for the Worcester Executive Fund and the Worcester Employee Impact Fund is August 1. In addition to the Worcester Executive Fund and the Worcester Employee Impact Fund, Saint-Gobain is currently accepting applications until August 15th for the Sustaining Future, Raising Communities philanthropic program in which public, vocational, technical and charter high schools, public and charter middle schools and community colleges anywhere in Massachusetts can win donations between $5,000 – $50,000 to improve classroom spaces or programs through supporting material or supply donations.
