Climate Impact Partners Appoints Sheri Hickok Chief Executive Officer
Climate Impact Partners, a leading carbon finance organization with more than 20 years’ experience in the voluntary carbon market, announced Sheri Hickok has been appointed Chief Executive Officer starting at the beginning of 2023. Sheri succeeds Vaughan Lindsay who led the organization for the past four years and guided it through the merger of Natural Capital Partners and Climate Care, arranged by Averna Capital. Sheri joins the business from GE Renewable Energy where she most recently served as VP and CEO of the international onshore wind business. Sheri will use her extensive experience scaling climate solutions and leading fast-growing businesses, to focus on the continued global growth of the organization and its mission to work alongside climate-leading businesses and high impact projects, to drive the global transformation to a low carbon economy.

At GE Renewable Energy, Sheri was responsible for the future growth and implementation of GE Onshore wind turbines across APAC, MENAT, LATAM, EU and SSA. Throughout her 27-year career, she has focused on developing and scaling industry-leading products that support a net zero economy. She has held various leadership positions with GE Renewable Energy and General Motors ranging from Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Management, and P&L leadership. She brings with her a strong focus on customers, leadership, and sustainable, profitable growth.

Sheri is also a member of the World Economic Forum Young Global Leaders, is a three-time DAVOS Panelist on Urban Mobility, The Future of Production, and Women in Tech, and has been recognized for her leadership and impact with numerous awards and accolades across her career. “I am delighted to join a company with such amazing impact where I can apply years of operational leadership to help take us to the next level.
