- Meta and Zelestra sign four new Environmental Attribute Purchase Agreements (EAPAs) in Texas, totaling 595 MWac.
- The agreements enable Zelestra to build four solar projects, adding to its growing U.S. renewables portfolio.
- Zelestra now has over 1 GWdc of projects in the U.S. backed by Meta agreements.
Meta and Zelestra have expanded their clean energy partnership, signing four new EAPAs that will support the construction of 720 MWdc of solar projects across Hopkins, Lamar, Lampasas, and Henderson Counties in Texas. These projects will supply electricity to the ERCOT grid, helping power Meta’s data centers with 100% renewable energy.
Why it matters:
The deal significantly increases Meta’s renewable energy investments and aligns with its goal to match electricity use with clean energy. For Zelestra, the agreement marks a major step toward its ambition of doubling its contracted renewables portfolio in the U.S. within the next two years.
